Can anyone shed any light on what the hourly rate might be on October 11, 2022? I’ve tried asking Disney and they won’t hazard a guess or give historical pricing.

I’m trying to choose among signature experiences and pricing of this tour would really assist with decision making.

Columbus Day is October 10, as is Canadian thanksgiving.
Thanks.

We did our first one in early Nov 2020, just booked our second for August. It was 650/hr for the first one, but the rates went up a bit. Our Aug one is 675/hr. YMMV with pricing, but I believe the cheaper ones are midweek and most expensive are major holiday weekends (think Xmas, New Years). For a tight schedule, nothing beats these. We tend to do short (3-day) trips, and they’re a game-changer.

Thanks. Is your August one on a weekend?

Those rates include tax, correct?

Both were on Saturday. You know, I can’t recall r.e. tax, but there is no mention of additional tax/fee in the confirmation.

Eta: the tip is a good point. And as mentioned, park tickets and reservations to the first/“meetup” park.

Hi, again - I emailed DSS since I just got my tour confirmation. Tax is included in the hourly rate. This response was today. Hth.

My error. Good to know! Have a great vacation!

You can call and get price quotes on different dates to compare. That’s what I’d recommend. I’d also be prepared to book while you are on that call to ensure you get the date you want.

The guides are fabulous! Last time we had Jimmy. Before that we had Raevon who is now a Disney Ambassador! He was the first person to wish me a happy Mother’s Day. What a wonderful guy. He’s going places in the company.

We did a tour on Monday Oct 18, 2021, so a week, after Columbus Day. Our rate was either $475 or $525. Tuesday was cheaper, but did not work with our schedule. I think Columbus week was generally a bit more expensive.

I hope our rate comes in around this price point.

I watched a YouTube video that was posted last month and their rate was $450. That was probably in the quieter period after Spring Break had ended.
Thanks. Disney wouldn’t give me a rate yet. They said to try back for October rates in July. Knew the Dis would have the answer!

Make sure you call right at 60+. I was waitlisted (briefly) at 60+10 for late August.

I feel like I am going to be the bearer of bad news. These are the prices I had for 2022 bookings.

For the week around MLK day, the rate was $775/hour. That was the price for at least the 2-3 days before and the 2-3 days after.

For Wednesday March 30th, it was $575/hour.

I would expect to pay closer to MLK rates around Columbus Day since it’s also a popular time.

Not bad news—realistic. I’m not surprised. I think I’d walk away at anything over $575. I am planning a big splurge, just have to decide what. It’s my fiftieth birthday and I have friends coming from as far as Australia. If I don’t do a vip tour, I’m looking at a private, in park event, such as a dessert party with a ride mix in. Or a Grand 1 fireworks cruise. Something big, but the budget is not unlimited.

I’ll check with them in July, but having this information will make me proceed with planning for my other options. Now I know I should have my event planner hold a park venue for me.

Thank you.

$775/hr was the rate over Memorial Day weekend (Friday-Monday) this year. 5/31 (Tues) was $675, and 6/1 (Wed) was $575.
