VIP Tour-4 parks questions

OP here. I am back from a fabulous week and have already started planning my next trip.

Our tour was last Monday and it was fabulous. We met Justin at HS at 10:00. (I had a BG 8 and should have been able to ride Rise prior to the tour, but of course it broke down when I was in the queue and I wasn't able to use the recovery pass that day, due to the tour). Justin was great and we would definitely recommend him. We were able to do all four parks in 7 hours.

At Studios we did

Slinky
Mid-Way Mania (with lots of tips from Justin about where to shoot)
Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway x2 (It was our first time on the ride and we thought it was so cute)
Tower of Terror (Only the teens did this one, but I walked through the queue and finally got to see it) While we were waiting for the girls to get off ToT, Justin went and moved the car closer to where we were.

Next we headed to Epcot

Soarin
Frozen
Test Track
Quick Serve lunch at Regal Eagle (We mobile ordered while in the car)

Animal Kingdom was next

Kali
Flight of Passage
Navi River

Magic Kingdom

7D Mine Train
Haunted Mansion
Peter Pan
Jungle Cruise

We had wanted to do Thunder Mountain, but it was down, so they gave us a fast pass for any ride in MK that day.

We never felt rushed and were very excited to get everything we had wanted done in the 7 hours, therefore saving us some money. If you are almost done but have something else you want to do after the 7 hours, they can charge in 15 minute increments. Doing this tour made the rest of the week much more relaxing. I think for me this was probably a once in a lifetime experience and I am so grateful I got to join my cousin and her family for it.

Thanks for the trip report!! Sounds fun.

Just curious how it was "saving you money" by doing this tour. Wasn't the hourly rate expensive per person?

The tour itself wasn't saving us money-we had thought we might have to do 8 hours so we kind of planned on the extra hour, but because we finished in 7 hours we didn't have to pay for that extra hour. I didn't explain that clearly. Sorry about that.

We were there in June. My husband, 2 kids 10 & 15 and myself. We did 19 rides across 3 parks in 7 hours. We stopped for snacks and scheduled a sit down dinner after our tour. We did not feel rushed at all. If you added hours onto the tour (up to 10 total) I don’t think you would have an issue hitting all 4 parks. We were picked up at our hotel (Swan) and had our guide run us back after HS to grab something we needed.

Just thought I'd share a quick update on a couple of VIP tour things for those who have tours booked or are interested in doing one. First, guides are now once again allowed to ride and dine with their guests. Second, starting next week VIP tours will have access to Rise of the Resistance without a boarding group. You can only ride it once per tour day, but at least it will now be included!

Woo hoo.

I understood DLR VIP tours had access to ROTR but was told by the WDW VIP team that I would not when we go in a week. Can I ask where you heard/read this?

This is the best news ever!!! I have been debating a VIP tour for our upcoming August trip and this just sold me. I did one for my 40th and thought it was amazing and would be once in a lifetime but I am kind of hooked! I am hoping our tour guide is still there. She was so amazing.
