VIP Shareholder Fastpass - pre-holiday dithering!

We're going in a couple of days!

I've booked the VIP Fastpass for Monday, which will be our second day, however that day is looking a bit rainy. So I'm wondering if I should switch it to the Tuesday when the forecast is a bit better (I know long term forecasts aren't exactly reliable though!).

So what do we think? Fastpass on the rainier day or the drier day?? I'm thinking the Studios would be better on the rainier day as we'll be seeing all the shows.

That's assuming I can even switch it.

I'm probably over thinking it as always and I've GOT to stop looking at long-term weather forecasts!

My personal opinion is, regardless of the weather, have it near the end of your trip as you will miss it the next day. We were lucky enough to have 2 on our last trip and we used them on our last 2 full days. On the day we left we were in the park until 3pm and used our park tickets for fast passes but every time we were all wishing we still had the VIP ones.
If its busy or rainy on your 1st day, like you say, you can do all the shows.

I know this might sound obvious but is it a holiday in France or anything? I think Carrie said there were quite a few long weekends in May?

Failing that, I totally see what Mrs Mickey is saying but Mon & Fri do tend to be a bit busier as people have long weekends at DLRP. So, the Monday might be good idea?

What day is it that the French children have off school midweek - is it Weds? Again, if you are there then and it is available, you might want to think about this day as from what I gather it can get busy, in particular if it's nice weather.

As for long range forecast - honestly, they can't even get it right half the time a day or so before (especially in the UK) so what hope do they have of long range! I too would be checking constantly though .

Monday was by far the busiest day of our recent trip and we had our VIP FastPass for the Wednesday - wish we'd had it for the Monday as Wednesday was mostly walk on anyway.

We also had 5 days of rain forecast and had about 30 minutes across the whole stay, so the forecasts can be way off too.

Argh, it's like the end of Deal or no Deal when the contestant has the chance to switch boxes!

I definitely don't want to have it on our last day as we'll be leaving at 4.30ish to go to EOS and then catch the Eurostar so that's potentially 6 hours of VIPing lost!

So that leaves Monday or Tuesday. I think I'll stick with Monday though because most of the rides are undercover and if it does rain we can do the out door stuff on another day. Plus I can't be bothered to try and change it and then rearrange my carefully laid plans and restaurant reservations!

Next week is the only week in May without a public holiday in it

The next one is Monday the 28th of May

Wednesday is infants and juniors full day off and seniors get half day

Weather is miserable again today, grey and windy but not cold (16°)
