Hi,

I emailed the Disney Sports people (who are extremely helpful) about the VIP availability, and here's their response:

The VIP packages will be available on September 12 at 8:00am eastern
time at www.disneyworldmarathon.com We will also be sending out an
email on September 5 with more information.

Thanks for the info but I will stay out in the cold(or heat, or rain, ...) with all my friends! For DW and I doing the Goofy, that means $200 I can have a lot of fun at WDW with that.

These packages went quickly last year. I'm a wimp about cold weather, so I'm grabbing a spot for the peace-of-mind that a warm tent will bring me. Bummer about the $10.00 massage fee, though...

Katie enjoy your tent, but Erica and I are out in the cold/heat with the others. You eventually have to come out and it just makes it harder when you do.

There are plenty of hugs and good wishes outside.

If it rains, we will all huddle under a giant tarp. This will keep us dry and warm at the same time. Problem solved

A tarp. What a good idea. If rain is predicted, I am definately picking one of those up. I will share!!!

Do they make tarps in lime green? Just in case its a monsoon, Wishers are wearing coverups or I just can't make out the subtle team shirts at 3:30AM while rolling in from JRs with my sunglasses on in case the sun does eventually rise, it might make it easier to locate the Pre-Race WISH VIP Tarp,Drop Clothe or whatever.

Tarps are pretty cheap here at our Farm Supply Stores. We always have several because we use them to cover up things during the winter months. I will keep my eyes peeled for green, preferable Lime!!!!
