Violets Candy...

Does anyone else like these? I've always loved them, since I was little. I don't know many other people who like them...everyone always says they smell / taste like soap. I don't think so, but that's just me! LOL.

I can count on one hand the people I know who actually like these, and now, whenever one of us buys a pack, we pick one up for the others! Our spouses now do this too. I just finished off a half pack. Yum!

YES! Those are the ones. They sell them here at Walgreens. Next time I pick up a pack, I'd be more than happy to send you some! PM your address...Seriously. You should not be deprived! LOL!

They also make gum (Major YUCK) and lemon and spearamint mints, both of which are okay. The "violet" ones are the best!

Wow, I loved those candies as a kid. Still do like them. When one of our local drugstores closed down, Rite Aid took them over and were not going to sell them or Coke! After much complaining, they now sell both items! YEAH!!!

I didn't like them as a kid but think they are ok now. I haven't had them in 4 years.

They don't come in a box. They are wrapped in purple paper with silver writing. They are square so the wrapper is square too.

For my brother's 40th birthday, I made up a basket of all the candy and junk we loved as kids in the late 60s and early 70s. It was a big hit.
