Violet Costume

Does anyone have any idea if more will be available before Halloween? I've checked online, at our local Disney store, and at Disney World with no luck. I reached out to customer service but just got a generic response back. I'd prefer to get the Disney store version if it is going to be possible.

Sadly, I would not count on it. It seems to be in really high demand this year with Incredibles 2 in the theaters. I noticed that at least one of the main costume websites is already completely sold out of Violet for the season too. I would buy one wherever you can find it now. Some of the costume places allow you to return or exchange as long as it is before Halloween- if the Disney Store does restock you could always get it and return the other. If you have a kid set on being Violet, I would get it now before they are impossible to find anywhere.

Look at the difference between the boys' and girls' costume. Should you have limited sewing skills it's easy to modify Dash's costume to make it Violet's. 1/2 yd of black "pleather" or similar fabric would make the skirt plus leave enough to modify the leggings. Removing the shoulder and arm padding in Dash's costume also easy to do. Uncomfy sewing/no machine? A seamstress can make the modifications in an hour maximum.

I saw a Violet costume at Costco. There were definitely more Dash costumes available, but a few Violets. I couldn't find it on Costco's website, but it was in stock at my local store, so it may vary by location.
