Vinylmation

Just wondering if DL/DCA still offers vinylmation trading in the parks?
Also, do local collectors still hang around outside the D-Street store in DD to trade? My youngest DS had a blast there last trip. Thx!

Vinylmation trading is more limited than it used to be. In Disneyland you can trade at Star Traders or Disney Showcase. In DCA, you can trade at Off the Page. In DtD you can trade at D Street. I didn't see any traders sitting outside D Street during our visit earlier this month. I had heard that Disney was discouraging those people from hanging out there, but I don't actually know if there is truth to this.

I concur that Vinylmation trading has been significantly reduced at DLR. Longtimedisneylurker listed the only places I can think of that are still doing trading. Be sure to ask the "rules" before you trade. When I was there last, the in park locations allowed you to not trade if you didn't like the one in he blind box. D-Street did not (i.e., you had to trade even if you didn't like it). I haven't seen the non-CM traders in a while, but they might only be there on weekends or during the busier times.
