Vinylmation Toys

I saw the big blank ones at a store in Animal Kingdom last week. I couldn't figure out what you were supposed to use to decorate them, and the people working in the store there didn't either. I'm not sure if I like them or not, but all I've seen are the big ones, the small ones might be pretty cute.

Maybe they're attempting to make them like these toys called "Munny", a toy for the creative and hype-crowd. Here's a link:

I really want to buy these things (maybe even the blank ones!). I hope they are still around by the time I go (May)!

I LOVE the HM one, but wouldn't buy it if I couldn't guarantee that I would get that one!

I would like to know too and I leave Saturday morning. Would you mind posting? Or, if you feel more comforable PM'ing us, I'm sure that would be fine.

Is there any place online to buy these? (Besides on ebay for outrageously high prices.)

I won't be in the parks any time soon and would like a couple.

I don't understand some of the ones in the urban series. Anyone want to explain what they are supposed to be?

i love the upside down mickey one.

Thanks Wvugrrrl for the links !!

They loook frikkin amazing :)

Looks like I have another thing for me to obsess about. Dang Disney and their wonderful designers!!!

just finished purchasing the last vinylmation for series #1. when the dust settles, we will have 13 3" figures, 6 9" figures, and the vinylmation t-shirt. we were also lucky enough to get almost everything signed by the artists.

I am very excited about it, I definately have a couple favorites!

Haha ! Hrm. I don't know then. Maybe it has to do with area then because I'm not too far away from San Francisco and the style of toys as art is very popular over there; and more so as urban cultural art (almost like graffiti).

I too am from up in the Bay. I love them!

Budgie, did you look in Off the Page? That was where I saw a whole bunch of the small ones (large ones too, but lots of small ones). However, that was in December and I wonder if they are all gone now. We saw them in another store as well and I cannot remember which one it was.

Isn't there a Peanuts museum up north? I LOVE Peanuts and Charles Schulz. That is a piece of my childhood right there, along with Mickey and Walt!!

I am just 20 minutes from the Charles Schulz museum. My dh actually delivered Lucy's purple baseball hat that sit out back. That thing is HUGE. They made it in Napa.

Back on these little cuties.. I just adore them and now have a new thing to collect! hahaha I love the urban ones and the park ones. I love the Upside down mickey, so cute. I am not going until May... I Hope I can find them. Maybe my mommy will find them and pick them up for me she lives about 30 minutes away from the Mouse house. Lucky lady

I was searching for more VinylMation info because I became addicted after purchasing 2 of them (Yeti and Sorcerer Stars). In my search, this site came up: www.vinylnation.net. It's pretty informative and they already have the pictures of the next series up. It's a pretty cool site and I'm grateful to have found it.

Cool site.

I've been lurking this thread for awhile but i had a question. The site that WDWFreak200 has a vinyl called pirate mickey. I would link to it but it says i must have 10 posts. How is that one a pirate? It looks japanese to me. :confused3
