There is no comparison regarding the food at BB and at VR...its more upscale dining and the food has a gourmet feel to it...I absolutely adored it...we did the wine pairing with our meal and I was in heaven...it is much more costly than BB though...for 2 people it ran $200 including tip..oh and keep in mind it is an outside restaurant so until you start getting that liquid gold into your system to boil your blood you are going to freeze unless your going in the summer even with the heat lamps above you it is freezing...not trying to discourage at all because the food is great and so is the service..just being realistic as I didnt have a clue about this when we went
I just booked the Vineyard Room and I'm thinking about changing it. We are a group of 5 and I'm afraid it might be very costly. Also, I didn't realize that it was outdoors and we will be there in December. BRRR.
haha thats why I wanted to let you know but you know I was thinking, are you looking for someplace to mellow down and dress up the affair a little bit after the wild adventures from the park? If so I would suggest the storytellers christmas eve dinner...and its really warm in there lol plus you get 3 hours of free parking at GC...they will validate your parking and you can valet it and give the valets a few bucks

Yes, it very well could be. I've been there twice as a party of two, and each time we spent over $100 without dessert.
That said, it's worth it when you consider gourmet dining. The food is amazing and the setting is great. If money is an factor, yeah, you may want to skip it, but if you are willing to spend a little, I'd defintely suggest the VR.
