Vintage DVC Room Keys and DVC Park Passes from 1993 - 1997 - and other DVC Memorabilia

I was going through items stored in the attic this morning and came across a box of Disney memorabilia.

I have to scan these but there are a lot of pre-DISboards things from the 25th Anniversary as well other DVC related items.

Here are some early DVC room keys and a DVC Park Admission pass available to OKW (and very early VB) owners where Park Passes came with stays up through the end of 1999.

On this pass, please note the original DVC-Logo - which had 3 mountains and a red sailboat in addition to the waves, (four) palm trees and the Mickey sun rising from behind the mountains.

On our first stay as DVC Members at 'The Disney Vacation Club Resort' in October, 1993 there was a gift from the Conch Flats Hospitality League waiting for us on the Key Shelf in the entry foyer of our 1BR villa.

It was a DVC photo album ...



... and inside was the following message:

Welcome Home!

WE HOPE THAT YOUR STAY AT CONCH FLATS
CREATES WONDERFUL MEMORIES
FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY FOR
YEARS TO COME.

I also have AP’s that were laminated drivers license type media, with our face pictures.

Holy crow, I look young.

Indeed I have considered doing that. I opted not to, as it’s sort of memento of when my Mom used to visit WDW with us.

Magical Beginnings was a promotional brochure offered in DVC Villas (and I think in other Disney Resorts) to introduce potential purchasers to the DVC Program.

This was Volume 1 - Number 1 from 1997. Please note the last page which shows the distribution of DVC Members (in 1997) throughout the US and abroad.

This will take 2 pages as the limit is 10 images per page and this will be 12 images.

In 1993, at check-in at OKW, we received several items.

One was a 3.5" x 6" Welcome Packet, which included our "Ving" Room Key and Resort Information:

I wouldn't recommend trying to use the order form below. I suspect many of these items are out-of-stock by now!

Thank you so much for sharing this. We looked at DVC in the beginning and then 5 years later...sure wish we had bought then!
