The Disney Villains After Hours event was offered in 2019 and 2020 prior to the parks shutting down. It has not been brought back at this point. However, the normal Magic Kingdom After Hours events have made a return in 2023. As of now, there is no word on whether the Villains version will eventually return.

I don't think they came back after COVID.

Ohhh that is just a live show that will be in the flex space, not a "Villains Night". Summer sometime to open but they already started the performer search process.

You may want to change your title and Post #1 to reflect SHOWS. Just saying.

Honestly, I'm wondering if both shows will purposely open around D23. Wasn't it officially announced the Mermaid and Villains will open at the same time? This sounded odd to me, and I wondered if it would be a double preview treat for D23 members.

Mermaid show is severely delayed. It was set to open last fall. Then they gave some lame reason for delay and moved it to Summer 2025. I believe the current permit for Mermaid expires end of August.

Villains Show permit expires end of September.

Both those could indicate a late summer opening????? And that could coincide with D23.

who knows?? I hate these "summer" "spring" open ended opening dates.
they're practically useless.
