We will be staying in a studio lake view next month and wondering if there are any room requests we should submit?

Upper floor.

The ground floor villas are not much above the walking path to Poly. They just feel a little less private. Otherwise, the views are pretty much the same from each of them. Most have a sideways view of the MK and look straight at Poly. The xx14 studios have a partial MK view.

Honestly I think all the views there are good including standard view (my favorite) but ask for upper floor. for better view of the lake

We had a horrible view at VGF in July. Room 1221 (standard view studio), 2nd floor, overlooking the lobby. View was of the porte cochere roof and a sliver of the monorail. The rooms around us had the same view. We liked the second floor part since we took the stairs all the time, but sitting on the balcony wasn't enjoyable

The one or two next to the door, I just feel bad for those people, no privacy at all, people walking by all day. Those rooms should be a lower point value.

I would request high floor/highest floor possible as well.

There are generally no bad view rooms at VGF except this one and the 1br next door (but especially 1221!) We stayed in 1421, just 2 floors up and the views were lovely. Sorry to hear you got The Dread 1221.
