Villas at the Boardwalk- Virginia Beach

I'm considering an exchange here. I saw VERY mixed reviews on epinions dot com. Some described it glowingly and others had epinions not fit for this board. If any of you have been, or know people who have been to this resort, your input would be greatly appreciated.

I checked a trip advisor website, there are mixed reviews -most of the negatives involved poor room locations or not so hot customer service. Most reviewers said the location was very good and the rooms clean.

Have you considered Turtle Cay? Villas at Boardwalk only has an indoor pool (if I'm not mistaken). We stayed at a Courtyard on Virginia Beach a few years ago that only had an indoor pool. It was so steamy in there--we really missed staying at a place with an outdoor pool.

What time of year are you thinking of?
