Villas at Seven Dwarfs Lane?

Anyone ever stay there? I have an attractive offer for a 4 bedroom villa in May. Any input?

We stayed at The Hamlets villa community at the bottom of seven dwarfs lane, we loved it there and it was so central for everything.

You will love it at The Hamlets
also as you turn onto seven dwarfs lane there is a new complex called Villas at Seven Dwarfs -these look like town homes and not individual villas. The Hamlets is a small community of 52 villas some are residential and some are for rent.

My family stayed there. Very nice. We had a 4BR which was brand new. I think we may have been the first to stay there. Plenty of space and the place was actually well stocked with DVDs and equipment. It was also a quick jump on to the toll road to Disney. It was $.75 each way but no traffic or lights compared with other routes. About 15 minute drive to the MK parking lot.

The major issue was security. There is a guard post at the gated entry that is always staffed but I am not sure what they do. One night while leaving, I saw two of them watching a movie on their PC. Meanwhile, for 3 nights straight some high school or college students would hang out for at least an hour by their cars before heading to the bars. This happened over the weekend and was always from 10 to 11. It didn't bother me much since I used to be dumb and drunk when I was that age. Plus my kids can sleep through anything. There was at least 20 kids screaming and laughing one night right in front of the community center and the guards did nothing. On the other nights, there was a band of middle-schoolers roaming around making a bunch of noise. In either case, both groups were harmless, just very loud. If you do go here, make sure to have the guard house phone # handy if this bothers you.

Other than that, a top notch place to stay offsite especially at what you get for the price. It will be interesting to see how the place holds up after a year or so since I think some of the building materials seemed pretty cheap (floors, trim, etc...)

Do you know if these high shcool/college kids were guest of the complex or just locals hanging out??

I think they were guests and not locals since some of their plates were out of state. The feeling I had was that their parents probably own a condo and they came down for the weekend with all of their friends to party for the weekend. I did report the security problem to my rental company so hopefully that will take care of the noise issue.

Has anyone else stayed at these villas? What is the neighborhood like? Any nearby grocery stores? Do they have grills?

Stayed there 2 weeks ago. One of the best places we have stayed at over 13 years. Super Target 1 set of lights away. Publix 1 set past that. In the middle of all the quick service and fast food places. Quick drive to disney. It is a perfect location in my opinion.
