Has anyone stayed here? I don't see any mention of it on the boards at all but the pictures on expedia look beautiful. $220 for a 1BR villa seems really pricey but my DH isn't into staying at Disney this time and I think I could talk him into a really nice offsite resort with alot of amenities. It also appears to be close to Sea World & Universal where we plan to spend some time. If anyone knows anything I would appreciate it!

I'm wondering the same thing since we haven't stayed there before but just booked there for 4 days during Memorial Day weekend. Not sure when you are going but you might want to check HotelKingdom.com for better rates than $224 for a 1 Bedroom:

www.hotelkingdom.com

We booked a 3 bedroom there for $139 per night (the 1 BR was $69 per night I believe) on that site. This a legit website that we have used before with no problems (they have some good rates for the Universal Resorts at times) and you should be able to find plenty of feedback on the company on these boards.

this is a beautiful place - it is part of the Hyatt - I have seen it on expedia - but not hotelkingdom.

of course I might have the wrong place - the expedia is showing $500 a night

here is what I though you talking about

TedO - I think we're talking about different places. You might be talking about Cypress Pointe which is on hotelkingdom. If that is where you're staying, there are alot of threads here about it. Do a search and you'll find them. SpiceyCat- I saw it on Expedia too. I found the $220 rate for a 1 BR on their direct website (some kind of booking early sale). It looks beautiful but internet photos can be deceiving so I was hoping for someone with personal experience. Thanks for the replies.

I just checked out the link. Thank you so much. I had it wrong - Expedia does have a $221 special for a 1BR. I hadn't found their website. It looks amazing. I know its a splurge but I think I'll be able to sell my DH if I give him some golf time. But, if there is anyone whose been there I'd love to hear about it.

I would think it would look like its pictures.

It was part of the Hyatt - and Hyatt definitely kept up their properties.

I don't know your dates...but I've seen this come up on Easy Click Travel for $129-139/night in June/July for a club suite.

Thanks 3Mouseketeers - you're right, I got it wrong. We're staying at the Cypress Pointe Grand Villas. Sorry for the confusion.

$129 for this place - oh if you see that again....

I know, I know...I was ready to book, and we got hit with some big, unexpected bills, so our trip is on hold... :sad2:

It's on easyclick now for dates the first of June - $129.00. That's why I'm trying to find out about it! It looks awsome! BTW, there are just too many cypress things... it gets confusing!

Okay - its back on easy click for $129. We wound up making a reservation directly with the hotel because after all my research it looks amazing (they were willing to match a deal on expedia). But, $129, what a deal!!! I'm so tempted to cancel and reserve through easyclick but I'm so nervous. We're traveling with 3 small kids so a problem with the reservation would be hideous. I've read good posts about easyclick but does anyone else want to make me feel better about it!!!
