can anyone tell me if they have been recently and how it is,i hear it has been having a refit,also can anyone tell me if there is laundry facilities

We have been to the villager premier three times and going a fourth in november.

The laundry is coin operated. You need to save your quarters for both the washer and the dryer. They are situated at the end of the floors by the stairs. You can also get the washing powder by the washers too. I think the prices were as follows; powder $1.25, wash $1.25, dry $1.00 or there about.

The village inn is ok, a bit like our little chef. We found ponderosa better value or sizzlers.

sorry to be a pain,has anyone been recently since the refurbishment has started

We went in 2001 just as they were doing refurbishment. It was just basic decorating of the rooms,fridge and microwave in the rooms and a little gym on the ground floor. The gym is very basic and is in what used to be in one of the rooms.

They had also started doing the get your own tea and toast from the entrance block in the mornings.It opens at about 7am ish. If you use the little square bucket that you use for ice, it can carry four cups of whatever and you still have one hand free to carry your toast!

They hadn't really done much more when we went last year.

cheers biggy,i had a letter a few months a go from virgin saying they were doing a complete refurbishment including swimming pools and that it should be completed by october 31st,so i was wondering whether anyone had come back in the last month or so
