Hi,

Has anyone stayed at a Villa at either Calabay Parc, Sunridge Woods or Crescent Lakes. Any info on location or the developments in general appreciated.

Thanks.

I was able to find this earlier thread on Calabay Parc before the Search Engine became unavailable :-

Calabay Parc

Sorry, have not stayed at any of these as we prefer to be situated off the 192.

We have driven around Calabay Parc though and it is the best estate that we have seen.
They are still developing and building new homes on it.

It is personal preference regarding location , CB is on the US27, for us we prefer the likes of Indian Point and Cumbrian Lakes, as I said just off the 192.

We stayed at Sunridge Woods in May/June last year and had a great time. It isn't on the 192 (a good 10 minute drive away) and has some handy shopping nearby.

It's about 15 - 20 minutes from WDW (straight up the I4) and we did make it back for a midday swim so it's not that distant.

I answer any specific queries if I can.

Hi

We stayed in Calabay Parc in August. Its a realtively new development. The bit we stayed in was complete, but they are still adding more sections on to it. I would guess, that come next summer the oldest villa would be no more than 2 years old.

Whilst not every one likes it, we have always found staying on this particular section of the US27 (between 192 & I4) very conveniant. We use the I4 quite a lot to travel to Disney, Universal etc and to pick up the 192 just before Old Town.

It is becoming a more popular area than when we first stayed there about 4 years ago. There are more strip malls being built and there is also a new Publix. We also like driving down to Haines City to the Walmart there - a lot less busy than the one on 192.
