My hubby & I are thinking of going to orlando this summer & would love to experience a holiday in a villa, (we've been to florida many time & usually stay in hotels). I can't seem to find any smaller villa's, do they exist, it seems a waste paying for 3 & 4 bedrooms when there will be just the two of us.

Also, we would like to stay fairly close to disney.

Thanks for any suggestions, grately appreciated.

does it have to be a villa?
what about a townhouse? we have booked one,on windsor hills, for next year.
my stepson, stayed in one, last oct & i was really impressed, with the complex.it must be one of the closest to disney as well, also it is just off the 192,so within easy distance of shops & restaurants.
i looked at
www.holidaylettings.co.uk
and
www.holiday-rentals.com
when i was looking for one.
maybe worth a look

What is it about a villa you are wanting?
As said a townhouse could be a good option, we had a 2 bed condo at Windsor hills last year.
Somewhere like here http://www.cypress-pointe.com/ is popular for an Apartment rather than a villa, usually very good prices, usually around £40/night for a 2 bed aprt.
We always find Villas/Townhouses/Condos very expensive for 3 of us compared with a hotel but we do prefer a hotel so no problem for us.
On the other hand my Brother doesn't like Hotels so when he goes in June for a week he is renting a Villa for himself. Going to a conference, he also doesn't like theme parks, strange person my Brother.:rotfl2:

There are 2 bed villas on Indian Wells, these are older villas, but just as good as new ones and are in a fantastic location, behind the walmart on the 535 a minute away from buena vista mall and the 192.

My husband and I always book a villa for the 2 of us. We have booked plenty of 4 bed villas. We have been in two storey villas when there is only the two of us. We have never gone upstairs. We prefer to have own own pool. It depends on your budget.

I would definitely go for a townhome in Windsor Hills. This will be our second time there. Its the closest to Disney. Townhomes also have a splash pool.
Windsor Hills is a gated community and has a big communal pool as well.
We have rented ours from a uk owner.

There are 3 of us me,DH,DS and i always get a 3 bed villa. I know there are 2 bed villas out there but I like to have the spare room, for the cases and where to put everything I buy before I pack it away.
YOur best bet is to look on the sites for villas - google search villas to/for rent etc - and look up 2 bed villas. Obviously the main reason for a villa is your own pool. A townhouse though you could prefer being on a site but you will prob share a pool.

Thank you everyone for your replies. why a villa, we have been to Orlando many times & stayed in hotels every time & stayed we have stayed in some lovely hotels. On a trip to Las Vegas in 2006, we spoiled ourselves & stayed in the mgm signature condos, it gave us the taste of the condo world, so last year we booked into the Marriott condo resort at the quieter end of international drive passed Sea World. We liked the resort, but on our last night the condo next door to us were having a wedding party and were very loud, they did move us, but it spoiled it a little for us, so this year I thought of a Villa & liked the thought of our own pool. I had a quick look at the Celebration area, but they all seem big villas.

We don't like to be too far from everything & like to eat out on a night, & of course be near the shops lol...... I am going to sit down & look at the links provided.

Thank you once again.
