Viggle App: Get rewards for watching television!

I checked into all three 10:00 shows and a pop up came up saying I got the bonus points but when I checked into my history the bonus points weren't listed.

Anybody else? ;)

Didnt get mine but my DH get his! Im glad Im not the only one!

Did anyone else max out yesterday? The Ellen show allowed me to max out for the first. I already have cashed out $35 in 2 weeks and should have enough for another $5 gift card tonight.

Yes, me and DH checked into 3 shows live last night, but the only show we didn't get bonus points for was Grimm. But the pop window showed bonus points...

Just gonna check back in this morning since we have it on DVR. Much easier than going through Viggle Support to fight for those points. Been there, done that! ::yes::

I didn't get my points eaither. In fact it's not even showing I checked into any shows. I have points for the baseball, then Shark Tank and then it skipped everything until I checked into Supernatural.

I would have hit the limit if I got all my points

I had the same problem with Fashion Police, Goldfathers and common law. What should I do?

Based on previous quotes there really is nothing. Viggle will send you an email that your out of luck.

I would try turning your phone on and off. Sometimes that will trigger points that haven't posted and that are there.

I hope they bring back the Target GC. I have enough to cash out but really don't want a BB GC.

If you DVR'd or Tivo'd any episodes from last night, check into them again. You have 24 hours to get bonus points from episodes last night. Or you can look up videos/clips of those shows. Itunes has 30 second clips (for free), or Hulu is your best bet.

The only other choice you have is to contact Viggle Support. Technically you did earn those points, (fair and square), but Viggle has been known to tell people that they cannot backtrack and make up points.

I had the same problem last night with Shark Tank. Not sure what happened but midday today I got +350 points that says customer service adjustment. I hadn't even contacted them and it was only 300 points but maybe they realized something was wrong:confused3

I just read on Twitter that Viggle was aware of the "hiccup" last night with some of the shows, and are tracking accounts and giving a 350 point credit. If anyone feels they should have received credit, but did not, then contact Viggle. :thumbsup2

Viggle has done this in the past where they'll give a standard credit, even if you missed several shows. So if you want the full amount of points, you are better off rechecking into the episodes yourself.

I am so mad at myself as I forgot about the 1500 Ellen show!!! I had just gotten home from picking the kids up from school and was busy with the kids. Ugh!!!

I missed it, too, thanks to dance recital dress rehearsals. However, I found it online yesterday morning, checked in watching clips on my computer, and got the points. (Yay!)

I haven't posted on this thread before, but this is where I found out about the app. Want to say thanks for pointing me in that direction. So far, I've gotten $55 in Lowes GCs. (And I am creeping up on getting another one, and I see that, today, they are up to 9,000 points.)

I'm missing the bonus points from these shows also. Based on the experiences from others I'm not going to bother to e-mail them.

I did get the 1500 Ellen so it was still a good day.

I didn't get the bonus points for the three shows also. I emailed viggle. This was Viggles response:

"I am sorry but we experienced an issue with check-in bonus points Friday night between 10:30 pm and 11:45 pm ET. If you checked into a featured show last night and did not get bonus points, your account was credited today with 350 points. It will appear as Customer Service Adjustment. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused."

I never received the 350 points. I emailed them again today telling them this and the fact that I am getting disappointed with Viggle. There have been several times now that I did not receive bonus points (but still received the check in points). Everybody is stating why get mad when it is all free to watch tv. But it isn't free, you have to sit there and watch these miserable shows, wear and tear on the ipod, electricity to have internet and tv on, etc. All for the hopes that they will come back with the target gc.

You don't have to watch the show or keep the tv on. Check in and turn the stuff back off or turn the channel :confused3 My internet is always on so that isn't a factor either. If you don't like it then don't do it.

buzz2400, sorry to hear about your situation. As a long time Viggle user, that's the one thing that frustrates me the most; their customer service. Not following thru on what they say. :sad2:

Did you check in live when these shows aired? I recorded them and checked in the next day. Viggle refused to make up those bonus points to me, because I didn't check in live. :(

In the past week, Viggle has had quite a few "hiccups" during Prime Time. I've never seen so many Viggle users posting on FB about not getting bonus points for Featured Shows. It's getting to be a bit ridiculous. Hopefully Viggle will fix the problem.

for those of you that are cashing out 2-3 times a week, what is your secret? I am home all day with the kids so I could potentially be checking every hour. But I know not all of you are SAHP either so there has to be something I am missing. Thank you!

I am new to Viggle - signed up this past Saturday. I did not know about Viggle until I found this thread.

I have a question. The way I read it is that when you cash out, they will email you a gift card. Do you print this out to take to the store (for example Old Navy)? Or how do you use the gift card? I know that may sound like a silly question. But some days the brain just does not work. :confused3

I do not have a Iphone. I am using my IPad.

Thanks and thanks to everyone for all the information.

There really aren't any secrets when it comes to Viggle. The bulk of your points come from doing the 12 hours of check ins, and checking into every featured show (for bonus points).

Besides that there are the Viggle Live events and watching ads to boost the remainder of your points. Ads are hit or miss. There are a few times when ads are best, midnight, and early morning. Other than that it's about being in the app at the right time.

I don't have children like you, but I am a "stay-at-home something or other" ;) and have tons of time to do Viggle. And I can't even max out to 6,000. At the moment I'm averaging about 3,500 - 4,000 points daily. Just depends on how lucky I am with ads.

I used to not like the Viggle Live trivia, but I've been doing it more lately. At 25 points per correct answer, that's about 150 points during a 30 minute show. I only do Viggle Live for shows I keep up with, that way I get all the questions correct.
