Viggle App: Get rewards for watching television!

I am new to Viggle - signed up this past Saturday. I did not know about Viggle until I found this thread.

I have a question. The way I read it is that when you cash out, they will email you a gift card. Do you print this out to take to the store (for example Old Navy)? Or how do you use the gift card? I know that may sound like a silly question. But some days the brain just does not work.

I do not have a Iphone. I am using my IPad.

I can only comment on the Best Buy gift cards. Just print it out and take it with you. Good thing when you print them out is that there is information to use it online too. I've used 4 in-store so far and not one problem.

Depends on the company; Bestbuy e-cards print out with a barcode for the cashier to scan. Chilis e-gift cards have a set of numbers (like a credit card) for the cashier to manually enter. All e-cards should be in one of these formats, so as long as that company accepts e-cards in stores, you'll be good to go!

Yes, if the local stores accept e-gift cards, then you just print it out and bring it in. Also depending on the company, some will allow you to stack e-cards.

No clue. I tweeted Viggle about that, and am waiting for a response. Maybe they want to contact the winner before making the announcement publicly.

I do remember Viggle saying the drawing was to be held on May 21st, which was yesterday. So helpfully we'll hear soon.

I believe the terms said the drawing was 5/21 and they would announce no later than 6/4. So who knows, it could be between now and June 4th.

Just heard back from Viggle. Exactly what I guessed in my other post; they will make the public announcement after the winner has been contacted. So yes, sometime within the next 2 weeks.

People keep asking about it on Viggle's FB page, so I don't think Viggle will leave us hanging! Besides I can say for sure that Viggle hasn't contacted the winner yet, because I haven't heard from them! Still hoping that me or DH won.

My DH has the Android app and it's been raining ads for him, day and night.

I have the Droid one too, and have been racking up max (thought mnax, since it just stopped giving me points) points with ads in a few hours. I didn't even need to check into tv shows. Today nada. I also noticed that it wouldn't give me the max of 6k points. Wasn't sure what to do about that either.

Any word on when they plan to reissue the JCP Gift Cards? They said a couple days, at this point I'd rather have my points back.

Yeah, i had that problem with keeping Up with the Kardashians on sunday. but i checked into it again from my DVR on Monday and got the bonus points.

I noticed the lack of ads, too, but then this morning I had a lot starting around 6:45 til I had to leave at 7 for work. They were mostly 50's for 30-second ads.

I reached my goal of Viggling enough to add to what I was already saving for an iPad, so now I don't have a specific goal with Viggle, so I'm going to just do it when I can, but no sweat when I don't.

I was catching up on Viggle's FB page, and they posted that the drawing for the Ellen 1 million points sweepstakes hasn't taken place yet. Viggle said the drawing would be "in a couple days." Sound familiar JC Penny group?

Uuuugh, why even create a timeline and write it into the contest rules if you're not going to adhere to it? So many of us thought the drawing happened on Monday....

Oh, well. We'll just have to sit tight. I predict the drawing will be in "4 to 6 weeks." Gotta joke when it comes to this stuff!

The last 2 days I am getting no ads at all under the shows, not even the ones that give you no points and say "Tell us what you think" or something like that. Nothing pops up under the picture at all when I go to the show screen.

Have you done a hard reset, (turn off/on your phone)? If you're still not getting any ads I would try to uninstall/reinstall the app. Because even though I'm hardly getting any ads w/points, I'm at least still getting those other ones...

So no ads for the past 2 days....how about checked in shows? Have you been getting points for that? Because if you're not getting any ads, plus no points for any shows you've checked into...then I would think there's a more serious problem going on.

I noticed that too. I also noticed most of the shows are anly 100 points now. What's up with that?

I got points for the checked shows. I tried the hard reset and clearing all the data from the app yesterday and still nothing.

This morning still nothing and then at about 10:30 right after I posted this, a few showed up. I maxed out on all ads the day before they disappeared so maybe that had something to do with it.

There is still nothing showing up most of the time under the shows, but I am getting 1 or 2 now.
