Viggle App: Get rewards for watching television!

Point lag here as well tonight.

Someone else mentioned late night commercials getting more points. Not sure how that works but my son did check me into a Keurig infomercial the other day and I did get points for it :lmao:

Actually I was referring to the points you get for the commercials on the phone on the Viggle App. During the prime time commercials that give you +15 points I have been getting +100 for each and every one.

None of my commercials are loading.:confused3
I love when theirs a glitch and you get more points than they offer!!!:yay:
Didnt happen to me though:sad1:

I logged into to two of the featured shows last night and didn't receive points for either. I have about stopped logging into shows all together. I have probably logged into 20-25 and have received points three times.

Anyone else think it is kind of funny that they have a Burger King ad promoted when you pull up the Biggest Loser show

As for checking into different shows, I try to let one show register for 15 minutes and then do another.

I thought that too. And then, to top it off, the points from the ad would never credit.

Start keeping track of what you log into and just contact them if your shows don't credit. They should be able to look into your account and give you the credit.
I maxed out already for today :thumbsup2 Hit the Gatorade ad last night when they reset.

Hi,
I am wondering which of the rewards can be saved up and used for a single transaction....does anyone know offhand? For example, can I save up best buy cards and use them to get something big? How about the gap ones?

Also I've noticed that most of the 100 point ads i have gotten come up around 10 pm. Would anyone care to share their strategy for maximizing these?

Each company has different policies regarding e-gift cards. It's best to check each company's website for specific details. Some only allow one e-gift card per transaction, others won't let you use them in stores, etc.

Best Buy I am somewhat familiar with: You can use up to 100 e-gift card printouts in stores. (That's up to $2,500! But with Viggle you can only max out at $550 in rewards anyway.) But I believe Best Buy only lets you use 20 e-gift cards for an online purchase. Just quoting what other Viggles have said, so I recommend you double check Best Buy for their policy.

Strategy regarding 100 point ads: Hit them when you see them! They hardly pop up anymore. I am seeing these 100 point ads at midnight (eastern time). Ads are so random and not everyone gets the same ads (or the same amount)....I've been following the SD's thread and one person will say they found an ad worth certain amount of points under a certain show. And then others will post and say it doesn't show up for them. It's different for everyone. But at times it can be the same.....only suggestion is to dig through all the featured shows during the day, and when ads pop up...hit them!

Yesterday I tried logging into the featured shows, checking in to 2 shows per hour (with 15 minute check-in's in between).

No points this morning.

However, I checked into cspan before going to bed to see if I could get those points, and sure enough, I got 600 points this morning.

Anyone know why I didn't receive any points from the 4 or 5 shows I checked into last night?

Momto2inKC - how do you know when you max out? Does your account say something? Do you know what the max points per day is and if that counts the commercials/ads?

No clue. I would do the following: log out and back into the app. If points still don't show up, double check that the shows are listed under your "check-in history" page. If so, then contact Viggle support and they should be able to look into this for you.

Also do you have the newer version of the app? Newest one came out March 6th. The app could be getting "buggy" on you if you have the old version....just a thought.

You can have a max of 12,000 points per day total, from ads/shows. The only way to know how many you've gotten is to keep track yourself. I do a screen shot on my phone when they reset every night. Once you've reached your max, you can still watch ads/check in and the little box will still pop up saying you've earned XX amount of points. BUT you'll notice your points are not actually increasing.

Okay, had no idea that there was a max. Thanks for the advice!

There's been a lot of 30 and 50 point In Plain Sight and Fairly Legal ads last night and even about 20 min ago. I was on lunch and saw a few. I also check in to CNN breaking news (it's from 9-4 in my listings)in the morning and get 4-6 hours worth of points while I'm at work. Also, the Today show is pretty good to check in to before work because its 4 hours long.

Thanks for the heads up about cspan over night.

Tonight looks good for Featured Shows. All the check-in bonuses equal 2,550 points! If I added correctly.

That's pretty high, some nights the check-in bonuses total around 2,000, or sometimes less than that.

Oh boy, the 10pm hour has a lot of shows! But I should be able to squeeze all those in. :scratchin

For anyone who might be redeeming for Sephora GCs, remember to check e-mail and/or regular mail for your V.I.B insider 15% off coupon! I got mine a few days ago, and I have my gift cards ready! Coupon shopping starts tomorrow, 3/29. :cheer2:

I don't think I got an e-mail with this. :confused3 Can you share what the subject line was for the e-mail? I have so many Sephora e-mails but don't see a 155 off coupon. Sadness because I am going to be ordering $60 of make-up for DD for her birthday.

I'll give you two things that will hopefully help you. The subject line is: Save the date: V.I.B. 15% off event

Sephora posted this on their Facebook wall for someone else who did not receive this e-mail either:

To view and print a copy of the VIB email, sign in to your VIB account and click here> ***************/GY9Bkn

Hummm...guess Disboards won't let me post a link. I'll PM you. :thumbsup2

By the way, the event goes from March 29 to April 6th.
