Views? WLV?

It's my first time at WLV.

Can anyone comment on what they request or try to avoid at this resort? Every room has full balconies?

Any interesting views that you've had in the past? EWP? Fireworks? Landscaping? Pool? Bay? Favorite Floor #'s? Close to elevators (are the elevators far?) Close to lobby? boat dock? pool?

most of the views are woods - there are some views to avoid - like this one

I would ask for a room near the elevators on the lake side.

for some reason this place seems to try to give members the worst rooms????

you can refuse at the desk - once you take the room it will cost you the cleaning fee to change rooms.

VWL has a few things to avoid if possible (but they should not by any means ruin the trip). Several rooms have a "dumpster view" and there is one room with no balcony. Yoiu cn use the link below to find those room numbers. (Also, there is a BWV report as I sw you posted about that on another thread.)

It is extremely difficult to ask for a specific room (as well as trying on the CM’s). With the new room ready policy, guests have reported getting several choices at check-in and this may than help

jmkst - yes I got that room - they have tried to give it to me three times since and I always ask nicely what else is availability

We just returned from 11 nights at VWL. We had a lake/pool/woods view. But only one small balcony for our one bedroom villa. I checked in about 8AM, but the room was not ready until 4PM. After my fourth or fifth call to see if the room was ready, I was told that I had not been assigned a room and there were four rooms that would be available soon.
