Views from DLH and PPH

Trying to decide between these two hotels for our next trip. From what I understand, the only way to get a room with a view at PPH, without paying concierge prices, is to book a standard room, and upon check-in I can request a room with a view? And the view is of DCA? How about DLH? What do their view rooms face? Is booking the same, or can I book a view room to guarantee it? We have never stayed on site so I'm clueless. Thanks!

you can also book "park views" when you book and hope for the best.. people get standard and request "park views" to save money.

Concierge doesn't promise park views.. again 2 different rates standard and park..
