Views at VWL?

Is it advisable to request a particular "view" at the Villas at Wilderness Lodge? I would prefer not to have a view of a parking lot. Thx!

You won't see a parking lot. Almost all views are trees in keeping with the theming of the resort.

There are a couple of rooms at the end of the hallway that overlook the maintenance area...commonly referred to as the Dumpster View rooms. To avoid those, just request close to the elevator. Of course, requests are requests so you could end up there...some one has to if the resort is full.

Even numbered rooms face the road coming in, while odd numbered rooms face the lake (although I don't know if any of them can see it). The views aren't that different but the odd numbered are supposed to be quieter.
