Views at Saratoga Springs

We are new DVC members, and will be staying at SSR in a week. Does anyone have any input about good views near the carriage house/big pool? I do want to stay near the carriage house, but I was wondering if there might be a particularly better view to request!! Thanks!

Congress Park has a great view of Downtown Disney. You will have better responses if you post in the DVC Planning section on this board, since all of the DVC members post there. Good Luck!

well that is the springs section which is directly across from the main pool. some very nice water views are here.

that say if you want a good view - I would go with Congress Park - it is across from DD and has some excellent views of it.

We stayed in the Springs across from the Carriage house and had an amazing view of the pond & fountain that is directly behind the bus stop. It was beautiful!!! I could open my bedroom window every morning and look at it -- AMAZING!!

For the most part, each section of SSR has a view of the water. Those in Congress Park have a view of Downtown Disney across the lake. Others all have a view of the ponds built between the sections.

The buildings are all set up with the door on the parking lot side of the building and the balcony on the water side of the building. (It's a condominium-style setup, where there's a parking lot next to each building.)

In my first paragraph, I say "most part" because there are a few rooms that look out on a street or parking lot. There are just a few of these, so your chances are excellent of getting a nice view. Someone posted an actual map of these rooms not too long ago.

I would not consider the new Grandstand section to have water views, unless you count very far water across the golf course. They are listed as golf course views.
