I am going to Vero Beach in late July and will have a dedicated 2-bedroom villa.

What are the possible views? I am sure ocean view is one of them. What are the others? :confused3

Thanks in advance! :thanks:

Ocean, pool & garden I think. Ocean view doesn't mean ocean front. Beware though, our "garden view" in the main building turned out to include a significant view of a very busy parking lot. Another request to consider...many of the balconies are very narrow/ shallow, barely allowing room for a teeny table and chair. Some have a wall, rather than a railing, that's at least 36in high and seriously impedes any view. I doubt this will apply in a 2br, but you never know. You may want to make sure you'll have a roomy patio and railing...

Vero's beach front is set up rather oddly. The rise tends to block most views of the immediate shore. You may be able to see the ocean on the horizon...

Some villas do offer a very nice view however.

Our 2 BR (lock-off though, not dedicated) had an awesome ocean view. If a lock-off is workable for you, 1538/1539 is FABULOUS!

Got to go on the first Turtle Walk of the year as well :bounce:

Glad you got all your waitlist days!! I was watching your posts to see if 7month/waitlist worked at VB.

I'm not sure if I should mention this because I don't know the accuracy of my info and memory.... maybe someone else can confirm or deny. The 3 villa buildings at VB are in the shape of 'U's' with the bottom toward the shore and the top of the 'U' toward the road. From what I have gathered all of the units are 2 bedrooms either Lock-off or dedicated with 1/3 of them being dedicated units. Many have reported that the bottom of the 'U' facing toward the ocean (but not necessarily ocean view) are Lock off units. Once I read that the 6 dedicated units are at the top of the 'U' with 3 on each side. Not sure the view on these units since we have only stayed in the Inn. I hope it works for you and you have a great vacation. We loved our stay at VB.

It all depends what 'type' of 2 bedroom you get. If it is a dedicated 2 bedroom then the room ar eat the end of the buildings furthest away from the Ocean. If you get one on the top 2 floors you will get a piece of an ocean view. As a previuos poster had stated if you have a 2 bedroom lockoff; these unit tend to be on the end facing the ocean.

Hope you enjoy VB as much as our family does!!!!
