Viewmaster reels of Disney World

I am going to WDW in June and was wondering if anyone has seen viewmaster reels of Disney World in any of the parks. I would like to bring them back for my class -- I think the kids will love them. I know they used to have reels of Main Street, but haven't noticed any on our last trip. Does anyone know where I can find them at Disney?

Other than the dessert menu at Primetime Cafe in MGM (which is on a viewmaster reel) I haven't seen them for sale in long time. They may be 'hidden' somewhere, but I doubt it. On a side note, I came across some viewmaster reels of Disneyland in an antique store last week -- about $16.00 for each land. I didn't buy them but it was really cool to look at them!

On our last trip, I bought this mini viewmaster-type souvenir. It looks like a red Mickey w/ Black ears and has attached disks – one for each park. You stick them in and then forward through just like a viewmaster – maybe 7-8 pictures on each of the four.

Really? I have a set of Disneyland viewmaster reels that I got when I was a kid in the mid to late 60's. They're somewhere in my attic. I hope the heat up there hasn't damaged them.

I saw viewmaster reels at world of disney last august (you have to search around for them and I don't remember which part of the store they were in but I did see them.

Do you know if the new reels work in the old viewmasters? I have an old one from the late 70s/early 80s and have the wdw reels from back then and thought it would be cool to get some new ones (see how that parks have changed so much---my old ones still have the pics of mission to mars and 20000 leagues)

My sister and I both bought a view master while in Downtown Disney at the World of Disney. She'll call sometimes and say, "Wanna got to WDW?" and we pull out the viewmasters and take a quick trip...it's a great purchase!! I think it was just $12 and has pictures of the parks and characters.

My friend bought a set of Disney Land view master disks from eBay. They are from the grand opening and show all of the original rides. VERY cool. Not sure how much he paid for them.
