We have a 7:40 adr for Narcoossee's Saturday night and plan to watch Wishes from there ( 10 pm show). If our dinner wraps up early I'd like to get back to our resort (AKL) early as that is our travel day.We also have a 5:10 adr Monday night at California Grill and the holiday fireworks are at 9:30. I don't love the view from CR and I believe Poly beach is closed . We could stick around the monorail resorts after CG but is there a good place to view the fireworks from GF (outside of Narcoossee's)?

Your reservation for Narcoossee's is a little early for fireworks. They usually get you in and out pretty fast (IMO.)

For those dining at Narcoossee's, they dim the lights and pipe in the music during Wishes. There's a wrap-around deck outside of Narcoossee's to watch the fireworks from. If you can, try and move your reservation a little later. It will be tough, as everyone has the same idea.

Cali Grill allows you to go outside and watch the fireworks. If being in the restaurant is your problem, just go outside. Poly beach, I believe, is closed. I thought I heard somewhere that they started checking people's room keys at Poly (to avoid too many people staying on the beach.) May have been a rumor, though.

I think you can watch the fireworks from the dock at GF? Otherwise, I don't have a ton of advice.

Yep you can walk down to the GF boat dock and watch them from there.

From what is being posted here, Poly beach is not closed.

You can take your California Grill receipt and go back up there to watch from their observation deck (they have two).

Wishes/HalloWishes/MK Fireworks can be viewed from any of the monorail resorts, WL, FW, the TTC, and (if you're lucky) the water transportation.

Contemporary - no view from Chef Mickey or the Wave. You can watch the fireworks from the CR 4th Floor Observation Deck or California Grill (if you are dining there).
California Grill - the restaurant has an observation deck where you can watch Wishes. They pipe in the music. A few tables have a view of Wishes, but those are pretty hard to come by. You can ask for a window table, but they do not promise to have one available before fireworks. If you want to eat here, I would aim for an ADR about 2 to 2.5 hours before Wishes. Personally, I like the observation deck because you don't have to deal with reflections in the glass.

4th Floor Observation Deck - guests can watch the fireworks from the viewing area. They pipe in the music. I would guess the view is similar to that of California Grill, but from a lower angle.

Grand Floridian - no view from Citricos (a few bursts might be visible, but not really anything worth seeing) or 1900 Park Fare.
Narcoossee's - this is my favorite restaurant in WDW. Most window tables have a view of Wishes, but the view is often blocked by folks standing out on the veranda. You'll probably have to go outside to watch as well. Then dim the lights and pipe in the music (inside the restaurant and outside on the veranda). You can request a window table. I would aim for an ADR about 90 minutes before Wishes.
Boat Dock - guests are able to view the fireworks from the boat dock area. They pipe in the music. Almost the same view as Narcoossee's.

WL Boat - if you happen to be lucky and be taking the boat to MK from WL (or the opposite), you might be able to watch Wishes from the boat.

I've not as familiar with the layout of watching Wishes from WL or the TTC.

Thank you. I figured for a 7:40 adr we may not get sat until close to 8:00.We have the deluxe ddp so 3 courses would be 2 hours at Narcoossee's. If we finish earlier it is good to know that the view from the dock is good.I assume there is only one boat dock? Is the holiday fireworks show much different from Wishes?

You can see them from the boat-dock (shown on the map below.)

Also, from an outside
observation deck near Narcoossee's restaurant at the
Grand Floridian. Anyone can stand on Narcoossee's Deck.
The outside deck is not a part of the actual restaurant.
(All serving is done inside.)
The deck is accessed from the sidewalk outside the restaurant.

Also, good viewing from the Patio overlooking the Marina.
The sound of the show is piped into these areas too.

Below are the angles of the views in the Seven Seas Lagoon area.

Thank you. When I've viewed them from TOTWL at CR it appeared to be much more of a "side view "of the show than it looks like on the map.

At the GF boat deck is the music piped in? If so, where would the music be better TTC or the GF boat dock? Sounds like the Polynesian Beach where we've gone in the past is to be avoided.

TTC has great sound.

I'm looking forward to the Poly beach for viewing again,
but not until the major upheaval of swimming pool rebuilding and DVC construction is eventually completed.

Right now, if you are at the Poly and want to see the MK fireworks, head to the Luau Cove (dinner show) beach area (far left, as you face the lagoon) to view them.
That area is construction-free. I don't know if there is any piped-in audio
in that area, however.

Inside the poly in Ohana, there waiting room had some pretty awesome views of the fireworks!
