Viewing Wishes from CR

Hello,

Where can you view Wishes from the Contemporary Resort?

We are thinking of having dinner there, at either the California Grill or Concourse Steak House.

I know you can see them from California Grill, but if we go to the Concourse Steak house, is there a viewing area around there. I thought someone said there was. And if there is, can you hear the music like you can at CG?

On the 4th floor they have an observation deck that you can view Wishes from..Just past the Gift shops...My favorite viewing spot is California Grill...maybe because I am a sucker for the pork chop??

A couple of years ago, we went through the California Grill onto an observation deck that was on the MK side of CR. It was a great place to watch the fireworks from.

I recently heard that that deck is closed. Does anybody know if this is true?

It is not closed, but it is only open to guests who dine at the California Grill.

They have changed the check-in procedure for the Cali Grill. Only customers of the restaurant can get onto the observation deck.

Can you see and hear the Fireworks from the observation Deck on the 4th floor? The floor below the monorail.

Yes, you can see and hear them. Get there a little early for the best viewing spot - or you can sit on the stairs behind the viewing area. Pick up a snack or drink in the shops before the show. My favorite part is that the monorails go right over your head while you watch the show!
