If Spectro is at 9:00 and Wishes is at 10:00 are there any decent viewing spots where we can see both the parade and the fireworks? I would love not to have to move too far after the parade and I don't want to have to find a spot 2 hours ahead of time.

Yeah, I know I'm asking a lot, but that's why I'm a princess! princess:

Thanks for any advice. This will be our first time for viewing both. On our last trip we were fortunate enough to see the Christmas parade and the holiday fireworks. :flower:

The hub in front of the castle would be a good spot for both but you would have to get there early. I have watched the parade from Frontierland and then used the cut through by Diamond Horseshoe over to Adventureland and out to Main Street to watch the fireworks.

another good spot to see both shows is if you find a curb seat on Main Street at around 6 o'clock and camp out until show time. We've done that before and had a GREAT view of Spectromagic and a GREAT view of Wishes. sure, you're sitting on your butt waiting for show time to start, but once you see spectromagic from the curb, you feel like a kid. also, after spectromagic is over, you don't have to move much for when wishes starts. just stay where you are and you can easily see wishes from where you'll be standing with no problem. a really good curb seat is right by casey's corner. you can sit at the curb while your significant other or whoever is with you can easily go to casey's corner or wherever else you want him or her to go to get snacks.

short question...

Does Spectro start or end in Frontierland?

TIA!

I agree with the curbside spot that the previous poster suggested. We were there last week....grabbed some food from Casey's and found a curb spot right outside of the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor (gotta have dessert!) Front row for Spectromagic, which was awesome. Although we didn't stay for Wishes that night, it would have been a perfect location. We sat down about 50 minutes before Spectromagic was to start.

I love this idea! I've seen other posts about the lights on, and I actually have seen wishes before but was in a very crowded and uncomfortable situation. Lots of suggestions for the train station but I don't intend on leaving after wishes, but sticking around.

What I want to insure is that where we are 1) we can hear well and 2) it's darkened.

I also would prefer a higher curbside or such. (I have a bad back and bad knees so that standing still for long periods is painful as is sitting on the ground itself).

We did sit in the area that is below uhm.. Plaza? restaurant. It was all roped off and we were walking by and the CM unroped it because some event had cancelled so we went in and had a table and chairs. VERY comfortable but I remember something off about it ... like the trees were blocking the view? Somethign like that! HOW could I forget?! yikes. I need another Disney trip to refresh my memory :)

I also wonder about the Swiss Family Treehouse view? Great or really bad idea?
