Viewing reservations online

I booked our first trip to Disneyland online last year - I have tried numerous times to log in to view it and it never EVER works. I have emailed them a few times as it would be super easy for me to make payments this way (being from the UK) and the first time they said it wasn't working, the second they didn't really give me an answer.....They answered other queries I had so I know the reservation went through ok and I have the booking reference, confirmation email etc but why won't it work online?? I have never had issues with WDW or cruise line reservations, has anyone else had issues or is it just me?

Did you make a change to your reservation at all? We were able to access ours fine until we made change. Since then we've had to call to make payments.

No changes at all - just no access to it full stop. Strange

And how exactly are you trying to access your reservation? It's been a while since we've I've worked with a WDW reservation, but if I remember correctly the process is a little different at DLR from what I remember at WDW. When I could access my DLR reservation, I would go to Disney.com, then under Parks & Travel, I'd make my way to the Disneyland page. On the Disneyland page, I'd scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page and click the link that says, "My Reservations." At that point you I'd in my reservation number and the phone number I used when I made the reservation and I'd get in.

Seems to me with WDW you actually log in using your Disney account, which gave you access to your reservations and more options, like linking your ADRs and stuff like that. It's strange to me that they would run two such different sites, but I assume it has to do with the differences in the services they offer at each location.

Your right it is different to the others - I have tried the method you discuss numerous times. I have been logged in on my Disney profile and not to see if it was that which was causing the problem but it makes no difference. Final payment is a while away so it's not a problem as such it just annoys me.

Ok, I'm not sure what else to try. I understand your frustration. Like I mentioned above, at one point I could access our reservation, but then we had to make a change. In order to make that change we had to call in and since then we haven’t been able to log in to view our reservation.

I contacted their web support and they are aware of the problem. While we’re not having to call internationally, I’m on the east coast, so it’s just more convenient to use the web, than wait for their customer service lines to come online. Unfortunately, I get the impression they don't have much interest in fixing it. They seem to prefer apologizing for the inconvenience and leaving it broken.
