Is there a venue we can pre-book along the world showcase where we can pay to sit and have a drive no and a good view of the nightly show? I know there is a fairly expensive full dinner option at the Britis restaurant but we don’t want a full dinner at that hour.

Nope,
You could try the restaurant on the lagoon at Mexico and order a light meal/drink. But, you might not get seated at a table with a “veiw.”

The pre-book options are Rose and Crown (as you mention), the Frozen Dessert Party and getting a FP+ for the show (but there is no dedicated seating in the FP+ area). Otherwise, you can grab a drink and find a bench or simply stand for the show. As Robo said, there are some restaurants with views, but there is no guarantee you will be seated at a table where you can view the show.

On evenings when there is not a special event, there are areas by the bridge between the UK and France that have rock wall seating areas. While they do fill early, they have a nice view unless you have someone standing in front of you.
