My first first (and probably only!) solo trip is in just two days and I was thinking about hanging out at the Poly my last night, have a drink and light meal there and watch Wishes. Can you see the fireworks from Trader Sam's Tiki Terrace? I want do some things that I wouldn't normally do on our family trips. Thanks!

It's a wonderful view. Just adjust you seat so you're looking between palm trees and you'll have an unobstructed panoramic view of the whole show. It's much more relaxing than trying to see it from the park. Because they play the music from the hotel's speakers, the only thing you miss out on is the projections on the castle. You can see all the changing colors of the castle, but I can't make out any of the images.

I've done this twice: Once for Hallowishes and once for the regular show.

About how early do you need to get a table to do this ??

Depends on when the show is and what show. I would say minimum an hour before if not 90 minutes before but in slower times sometimes they are free all night.

Ok. I am hoping to do this on Mothers day so 90 min early would probably be a good idea. Thanks so much. Thinking some food and drinks and then fireworks would be great!!
