Personally, I wouldn't count on viewing them from the restaurant, there's no guarantee you'd be seated with a good view. Instead, I'd make the reservation for two hours before whenever Wishes starts, eat, and watch them from the beach.

I agree with this poster. The odds of getting a good view are slim and none. If you luck out and can get a window table that faces MK it is a nice view (the pipe in the Wishes soundtrack and dim the lights). My girlfriend and I were lucky enough to score a window table on our last visit durring Wishes and loved watching from that prospective. However, we probably wont be going back there due to the decreasing quality of food and service, but that is another story for another thread.
The last time we went, I had booked a table 1 1/2 hour before the fireworks. When we checked in, I told them we would wait longer for an empty table by the window if they didn't mind. We were seated at a prime seat and enjoyed a lovely view of the fireworks. It was perfect timing, to where if we couldn't get a seat by the window, we had the option to go to the beach after dinner instead. Good luck!!
