Viewing fireworks from Dolphin

I just booked a four-night stay stay at the Dolphin using the teacher rate, apparently on the last day before it increases. My wife is an assistant principal, but the lady said that counted.
We took the cheapest room at $129, or $143 after tax. I don't care that much about the view. However, I've read many people say the view from their lagoon view rooms on the Illuminations and fireworks is really great.
Is there a bar or other observation point at the Dolphin where we can watch the show?
Also, I'm assuming the Dolphin is a very easy walk to Epcot. How does the walk from the Dolphin compare to the walk from the Board Walk Villas? For my wife and me, eating at the World Showcase is our biggest treat of the trip! Thanks!

the bridge by the dolphin heading to the y&b club is an excellent place to ciew the fireworks

There are many great views in the Boardwalk area. There are these benches in front of the Atlantic Dance Hall that you can sit and watch them from across the water. Have fun!

Is the teacher rate at the Swan & Dolphin going up?? Please say it isn't so!!

The walk to the international gateway at Epcot from the Dolphin is a very easy 10 minute walk - right past Y&B Clubs. And the bridge is an excellent places to watch the fireworks....

Our balcony at the dolphin allowed us to see the MGM fireworks...just ask when you check in...they have a map/layout of the rooms and what they face to help you get a great view if available.

No problem walking over from the dolphin, you come across the bridge right by the boardwalk...very easy. It is much faster to walk than to take the boat, even from the dolphin.
