DH & I want to see the electric light parade.

We are going to the Hoop-De-Doo at 7:15 & thought we could then watch the parade( info says it goes past fort wilderness at 9:45) from Fort Wilderness before we head back to POP.
Since I have never been out to fort wilderness I wanted to know if this sounded like something that would be possible to do. :flower:

Sure is, just go down to the boat dock.

But a BETTER idea is to take the Hay-ride after the Hoop.

The driver will drive down to the beach and "park" as you watch the Electrical Water Pageant from the wagon... very nice!

There are hay-rides after the early Hoop as well, but the Water Pageant stop, of course, will only take place during the ride following the 7:15 Hoop.

We do this every trip.
Very inexpensive ($8 per person, or so) and a nice quiet ride thru Ft. Wilderness campgrounds. Lasts about an hour.
There is no HAY involved, just a wooden wagon with bench seats (on cooler nights, they usually even provide some blankets.)

There is a posted waiting area for the hay-ride near the Hoop Theater (Pioneer Hall) and you can locate it as you wait to enter the Hoop before the show... but its pretty hard to miss it when they bring around the wagon with the 2 horses.
You don't need advance reservations, just go to the posted wagon-loading area and the driver will take care of your admission right there.

This is not the CARRIAGE ride (single horse), this is the HAY-ride.
