I have heard something about this...what's the deal?

Two GOOD choices at Poly:

1. From the BEACH.

2. From OHANA (restaurant).

You need ressies (ADR's) for Ohana pretty far ahead because this restaurant is VERY popular. But its not exactly "cheap" either, as its a family complete buffet dinner. Price is $25-$30+ per adult (but very GOOD!)

At either location (beach or Ohana), on most nights they feed in the audio track (music and voices) from the MK so you can get a better "feel" for the Wishes show.

FWIW, Wishes is BEST viewed from in front of the castle INSIDE MK. The show actually INCLUDES effects and fireworks that can only be properly seen from a location that allows a (nearly) full view of the castle.

Wishes is a very GOOD show if viewed from a boat in the lake (Wishes Cruise), from the Poly, the Grand Floridian, the Contemporary and even from a rocking chair on the front porch of Trail's End/Crockett Inn in Ft. Wilderness...
But, the FULL SHOW is truly MAGNIFICENT when seen from a Main Street, USA vantage point.
