In planning our December trip my wife has been mentioning how she might want to stay at the Contemporary or Bay Lake Tower so that we could view the fireworks from our room. She has been to Disney World bunch of times but has never had a view of the fireworks, and she would love our 4 boys to experience that. :-)

From what I've read, among the DVC resorts, BLT is the one known for having the view of the Magic Kingdom fireworks, but I also wanted to check to see if there are other resorts where we could arrange a room to see any of the parks fireworks, it does not have to be the Magic Kingdom show.

So, any place else good to see the booms? :-) ( and yes I know about 7 and 11 month windows and all that, just needing resort ideas )

In Dec you will also be able to view the MK fireworks from the Poly beach, I plan to do just that. I have seen bits and pieces of fw at epcot from beach club rooms, but not well enough to make that a plan of something to do. I would think that if not from the room then from the beach at VGF and possibly WL would be viewing points.

I seem to recall Tikiman saying the beach area near the Poly pool will be blocked off by the fence going in. So only guests at Poly may be able to access that. We won't know until the resort opens and the pool area is complete.

However, there is another beach area that he mentioned as being able to see. I think it is the each area o the side by the luau.
