Hello - thinking of including a dolphin encounter for our two older children while the youngest (4) either does something else or watches with us parents. How close or how well can spectators observe the dolphin encounter?

Are there some recommended places to watch/take photos/video?

Thanks for your tales!

The spectators can stand approximately 40-50 yards away, on the beach.
It would certainly be possible to stand on the beach and film if that was your desire.
It is wide open and you will have no obstructions blocking you from your family.

DD & I have been twice. 1st time we did TFAD & in our 'swim' group there was a young girl all alone, her younger sibling was allowed in the water for a picture. The 2nd time DD did the swim & I watched. From where they stood I was maybe 20 - 30'. They asked me if I wanted to come in for the picture. You can get pretty good views. It probably depends a lot on if you are in the 'center' group as there are usually 3 swims at a time going on in each of the 3 dolpin pools. If they'r notin the center pool, you should have great views.

When I did the swim, my mum went out on some rocks to take pics and that wasn't that far away. But it depends on what pool you are in. some are better then others but you can always see the swimmers
