I am trying to preplan in my head for July 20th and 21st. I am only going to have 2 nights at Disneyland this time a Friday and Saturday night and want to do fireworks, WOC and PTN.
I know that it hasn’t started yet and WOC will be taking a break for a while. But does anyone see the chance of being able to do the WOC dessert party and being able to see the PTN from the same spot?
I try to do dessert parties or meals that give us a less crowded spot to watch things as I have a member of our group who suffers from anxiety and these have been successful for us in the past.
I am trying to visualise the view but my brain just doesn’t seem to be cooperating with me at the moment.
Thanks for any ideas.

Wait until Pixar Fest starts this Friday. People will review the entertainment and start posting photos of/from the various viewing areas. I'm sure people will post photos taken from the WOC viewing areas. If they don't, then post a request for some photos. Reading the reviews here and seeing the photos will help you with your trip planning.

I would not expect the view to be very good from the WOC dessert area. They are a level below the parade area, and the area behind will be for other viewing. I would say "No view" from that area.
I agree here.

There is a chance that PTN will show twice nightly all summer which would create some flexibility for anyone wanting to see WOC and PTN on the same night.

I would think this would be especially true for those in the front row of the Dessert Party area. Trying to view PTN over the back row of high tables, then over the bar (if you are in front of that), plus the raised level behind the Dessert Party area... one probably could see the tops of the PTN floats well since they are so brightly lit, but I doubt that much, if anything, could be seen of the dancers or anything at street level.
