Hey everyone,

Can anyone tell me what the view of Wishes is like from the dessert party? Are you able to approach the railing to watch when they start, or do they make you remain in your seat?

Many thanks!

At this time, the tables in the Tomorrowland Terrace are pre-assigned and guests are not permitted to stand at the rail anymore.
So, if you happen to get a table at/near the rail, the view is good.

But, many tables offer only a partially-blocked limited view.
I would not be happy with one of those.

Starting Oct. 1, 2016, they will be offering Dessert Party guests the opportunity
to view Wishes from the open Hub area in front of the castle (one of the areas previously used for FP+ Wishes viewing.)
That would be the option I'd choose for, by far, the best viewing angle from a "dessert party."

Great, thanks! I'm thinking about booking it for a trip in May 2017, and if I'm able to use the area in the Hub I would opt for that. I used FP+ for Wishes last year when it was still an option, and I really enjoyed viewing it from that spot.

I just saw that today - that the dessert party is now "with Plaza Garden Viewing" I was on the fence about doing this for our trip, but am intrigued now. The map provided isn't specific about where the viewing actually is though, just the plaza garden. Looking at the map of the hub where is the plaza garden?

Edit - we would be doing this on the October 5th - I wonder how the MSEP crowds are going to affect Wishes viewing? Ugh it seems like it's going to be a CLUSTER.

I thought the tables were first come, first serve? We went in 2014 when the tables were assigned and it worked out well for us. But I'd heard it changed recently. Thanks!

Will it be that way next year, or next month, or next week, (or tomorrow night, for that matter)
only time will tell.
