View from VWL

HI! Does anyone have any pictures or can suggest a room or location for a good view from the VWL?

Most of the Villas have a Woods View, you could ask for a view of the Hidden Springs Pool that would be nice. The only request I ever make is to be close to the elevators. I have a diagram of the rooms over at the Villas just click on the link below:

Almost forgot one of the DIS members that post over on the WL FAQ Thread is just back from the Villas and took some great photo's you could look at his site and have a little mini-tour of the Lodge & Villas

If you have litle ones you may want to request 2nd floor or above. The first floor has patios that are on the ground and alot have no way to corral them in.

HI! Does anyone have any pictures or can suggest a room or location for a good view from the VWL?

I was in 3505 (studio) and had a fabulous view of the pool and a sliver of lake. I am not sure how much of the lake can be seen from the villas...maybe better views from the 4th and 5th floors nearer the lodge?

We had a dedicated 2 bedroom (3545 I think) and overlooked woods. Could not see the lake or pool, but it was very quiet and peaceful.

Since most of the resort is owned by DVC members, all you should really do is make a request of the view that you want or the location that you want - near an elevator, woods view, non-smoking, non-handicap, etc. Even DVC members only make these types of requests and don't request a specific room. Since the resort is so small, making only a specific room request and not type/location of room will leave you with the luck of the draw.
