There have been a few posts about Everest and it's sick-inducing abilities....

But it does have a heckuva view:

Or if you turned forward...and you had my son in front of you :rotfl: :

Thanks for the picture! How in the world were you able to snap it without losing your camera! Very impressive! :thumbsup2

Kind of reminds me of skiing. A lot of people are afraid to do it, and they end up missing out on some fantastic views.
I appreciate the picture, and can't wait to see it for myself (just hope I can talk either my DS (10) or my DW (uhm, better not say) to go on with me.

Great shots. At the top (the bit where the track ends) you can see most of WDW. It looks nice, but for me, it completely destroys the theming. One minute you are in the Himalayas, and the next, you see tropical paradise as far as the eye can see. It lowers the 'believable' factor for me.

You know we got stuck on EE a few days ago. I had my camera and managed to take a few pics before they came up there to get us and then we were told NO PICS OR VIDEO. The view was really nice(we got stuck right on the top of the lift hill). I'm just glad we didn't have to walk up those 14 flights of stairs. The Cm's were totally out of breath by the time they got up there. That is a very nice pic though.

If they won't go on it with you, I WILL... pick me, oh please PICK ME!! :rotfl:

Everest is my FAVORITE ride in disney world... followed by:
-rockin roller coaster
-tower of terror
-soarin
-test track

but yeah, pick me!

Yep the view is gorgeous. When dh and I rode it in May, I was sitting on the right hand side, and I was saying "Oh honey, look at the view it's just beautiful!!!" And then all heck broke loose! :teeth:

Beautiful picture. Here is one looking the other way.

Hopefully we(myself, DH and 6 yr old DS) will be brave enough to ride it. My DS loves roller coasters and he will be over 48 in. by June 2007.

I have to admit, when I rode EE in September for the first time, I did NOT open my eyes at the top of the hill. I was just impressed with myself that I didn't chicken out in the first place. Next time I'll open my eyes, really I will!

WOW! Great photos from the top! See, I KNEW there was reason why I close my eyes going up that lift! LOL! I think I'd be sick turning around in ny seat like that taking a photo!!

Just seeing how high up you actually go in the pics makes me feel a little "off". But it doesn't stop me from riding it! :thumbsup2
