view Fireworks OUTSIDE the park?

Is it possible to view the fireworks from outside of the park? If so, where is the best place?

I was told Paradise Pier does play the music of the fireworks... but someone else needs to confirm that.

Thanks - can anyone confirm if there is a place OUTSIDE of the park that plays the music to the fireworks?

We were able to see the fireworks from our room at the Tropicana. But you can't hear the music from there, of course.

The parking structure! I swear that is the BEST view of the fireworks LOL. And yes, if you listen really closely you can hear the music But really. GREAT view for not having to wait AT ALL to see them. Not having to deal with crowds, etc.

In front of the BWPPI - we checked in late (around 8:30pm) and we were unloading, we noticed the fireworks going off. So I sent DH and MIL with the 2 boys to the street, while I continued unloading. It was a nice start to the vacation (and free!)
