Vienna sausages

Vienna Sausages = dog food.

At least in our house! They are bought as treats for our dog when I see them on sale.

Vienna Sausage -- (semi-dry sausage)
Properly refers to all dry sausage; generally refers to mildly seasoned soft cervelat.
Vienna Sausage -- (cooked, smoked sausage)
Ingredients similar to frankfurters. Term most often applied to small, open end sausages packed in cans of water. These are made into 80-foot lengths and cut into two-inch portions for canning. The name, vienna-style sausage, may also be used interchangeably with wiener or frankfurter
Squishy and wet...:crazy2:

What are they anyway?

DH once read the ingredients for some meat stick type product and it said "pig, bones removed" His friend commented "if you were only going to remove one part of the pig, would it be the bones?!" :laughing:

OMG! I had forgotten all about these things! My mom used to eat them when I was a little kid. Do they still make them?

:eek: :eek: :earseek: GROSS!!!!:earseek::crazy2: :crazy2:

I think they're gross, but they are Paul's absolute favorite food right now. He LOVES them!:p
