Hi everyone! I'm just starting to look at videography... I have heard tons about STVS and have been in contact with Stan. He sent me a sample disc and I really like his work but think I should check out a few others as well for comparison. Anyone used someone other than STVS? Also does anyone have the most recent price list for STVS? Mine says 2008 on it and all I can find listed on his website is the package prices with Randy:confused3 Thanks!

I used Visions Media. I had contacted Stan and I found Visions Media to be more budget friendly and more our style. They are very friendly and their prices are on their site. I also modified my package to fit our needs with no issues. We haven't received our video yet but will update when we do.

Thank you for posting this question. DF has asked me to research videographers. He really wants to play the ceremony at our at home reception for his grandmother.

I know I've harped on it before, but I went with Cinema Chic and love, love, loved Kat and her work. You can see our 5 minute clip on her blog - under Disney Wedding...

She was wonderful to work with, and her price was very reasonable. She had another videographer for the ceremony, so it was a two camera shoot, and then she shot on her own for the rest of the day. We had her for the whole day (with a break of a couple of hours between the end of the reception and the "Dessert" Party - actually wine & cheese)

On the DVD she sent there was our 5 minute preview, and a longer 40 or so minute edited version of our whole day, credits and a funny "out-takes' portion, and an unedited version of the ceremony.

Cost was about $1700.

www.cinemachicfilms.com for her website, and http://cinemachic.blogspot.com/ for her blog to see our clip.

Just as a side note since several people mentioned a second camera from other companies, we had Stan and he used two cameras during our ceremony. His wife Bonnie ran the second one, so we had plenty of shots from the different angles in the room :thumbsup2

Thanks for all the recommedations ladies! I will definately check these out! Feel free to post more if anyone has them! Thanks!
