As it will only be my fiance and I at the Wedding, I thought it may be a nice touch to get our Wedding recorded. My family and his will not be attending and I know that my mother especially would love to see the DVD. I have been looking at outside vendors and I love the look of a cut above productions. Has anyone used them before?

Does anyone think it would be weird to have it filmed as it will just be the 2 of us? I mean I'm intersted in pre ceremony and the ceremony getting filmed, but we aren't having a reception, just a meal later in the evening at Victoria and Alberts. Has anyone else done just this?

Thanks

I've been looking at cut above productions...they look good don't they! :) I think it's a good idea to get it filmed!...it's nice to keep it for the two off you isn't it!. :)

I'm hoping to get ours filmed too as we are hoping to have a reception when we get back. I haven't even started looking at it yet though. Do you have a website and approx how much does it cost?

I've msged them and asked about the elements I'm interested in, but I only did that today so haven't heard anything yet. Will let you know when I do ;)

Thanks...that will be good to no! :thumbsup2

I was wondering, i'm having a custom wedding...and am planning to have videography(possibly Disney)...but a member of my family was wondering if he could film the wedding and reception aswell as the official one?...or is that not aloud?... Thanks

I couldn't imagine why it wouldn't be allowed, but don't quote me on that, I'm just a novice :goodvibes

they wont stop family members from taking photos or videos

Aww, A Cut Above Productions got back to me, and they aren't available on August the 17th, I'm gutted :sad2:

I really liked the look of their demos, can anyone recommend anyone else to me other than Disney? Disney seems to be really expensive and I don't need that much footage as it will just be the 2 of us!

STVS weddings there suppose to be good. :)
Sorry to hear about the other videography company!

Hello ,

It's been a while since I've been on these boards. It's so fun reading about everyone's planning. I was an intimate bride in October 2005. I used STVS for my Disney wedding. They were fantastic! Their work was priceless. I have a small 1 minute stream of my video on my wedding website: Our Wedding Recap . Feel free to view to see a brief look into their fabulous work. I would recommend them to anyone who is seeking a 'true' movie style production. They make you look and feel like a movie star. Here is their website, too: STVS Weddings

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! It will be truly magical! :wizard:

If you can afford it i would go with STVS in a heartbeat but i wanted to cut back as we wanted to save money to have a formal recepetion at home.
We are going with a magic moment www.amagicmoment.com Dont know if that link will work, never done that before!
They cost $350 for a deluxe wedding video with musical montage, editing etc.

Aww, your montage is beautiful. I have added STVS website into my favourites and I will have a look at it tomorrow. I think I definately need a videographer now :thumbsup2

I'm glad you liked our ending montage. The entire video is about 40 - 50 minutes; it's harder to get extra footage at an intimate wedding. But I think he did a fabulous job! I'll try to find the link to all the 'extra' stuff he puts on his website. He has like a backdoor link that will connect you to over 20 full length videos.

He is expensive, but the quality matches. As of October 2005, a two-hour coverage, with two cameras, storybook introduction with your invitation wording, professional production, slow-motion retrospective with your selected music was $650.00. But, I am so happy I have such a live look at our most special day. He got each moment, each emotion and it feels as if you were there.

I'm looking at A Magic Moment too, following your post about them ages ago, but I've not heard of anyone else on here that's used them or have comments, so I'm still a little bit hesitant. I'd also like to use STVS but it's a little out of my price range as our's is just a VR.

Hmmm, tried A Magic Moment and they seem reasonable in price but as deeslack said, I haven't heard of anyone who has used them and that makes me hesitant.

Tried Jeffrey Stoner and he doesn't do Intimate Packages.

A Cut Above isn't available on my date :sad2:

Have emailed STVS, waiting to hear back :wizard:

Anyone have any other suggestions?
