Video Trip Report- April 27-May 4

Thanks for the props:thumbsup2

I have a small camera that I am holding while on EE. A lot of quality is lost on Youtube but if you see at the end of EE I include a shot of the "on ride photo." You can see me with camera in hand. The challenge is to not only try to smooth out the video but on EE the high head rests offers a very small field of visibility.

As far as the underwater shots, I use a spots pack. It is a waterproof housing made for the camera. Can't wait to use it on my 08 cruise:banana: .

It is huge and if you watch day 5 when we are at the gate for TL my best friend Bob makes fun of me a bit because it looks so funny. When I had it in the Beach Club pool everyone seemed fascinated by it. many people stopped me to say they thought it was cool or to ask questions about it. Even the lifeguards liked it.
Here is a picture.

This is from an early post. saves me the typing.

OMG!!! you had me rolling on the floor and MH is looking at me like i have 3 heads (at times it feels like i do!)

Thanks!

don't know how to do a double quote post.

You see the quote button? Now right next to it do you see the little note pad with the "+?

You click there to mark a post for quoting. It will turn red. After you've clicked a few of them post a reply. The quotes will be waiting for you.

That has to be the best trip report I have ever seen. Your videos were amazing! They were just brilliantly put together. You really made me feel like I was there. Even though your wife got annoyed with the video recorder I bet she is proud now of what you have made!

I have a few questions for you now that I have watched the videos!

-Where was the Tony's restaurant located? I have never heard of it but I would love to try it!
-Where was the ESPN Zone located? I think that would be really neat to see!

Man the "Guess what I did when I got back to the hotel after concourse steak house" seriously cracked me up! The black and white at Tower of Terror was pure genius. You should think about making promotional videos for Disney! I mean you have amazing talent!

Chris,

I have absoutely enjoyed your trip report. Just wish there was more. Thank you so very much for posting it.

Love your puppies they are so cool. DH and I had a French Bulldog. He was the best.

Tony's is located on Main St. USA on the east side of the square. To get into it you have to enter the Exhibition Hall but they do have a podium outside.

The ESPN Club is located at the end of the Boardwalk opposite Atlantic Dance at the Boardwalk resort.

So sorry to see your trip report end!!!:sad1: You did such a great job, that I found myself feeling very sad as though it were OUR trip! When you were at the door of the Wilderness Lodge saying good bye, I was sitting here crying!! But you are a good videographer, directer, or whatever, because suddenly I was laughing with the antics of your cute little dogs!!! Guess he really liked the Pluto Paw!!!
Thank you for doing all the work and then posting it for all of us. I feel as though you and your lovely wife are friends of mine!
I hope that you are going to continue doing video trip reports. I think that it is really the best way to do one!!!!
I shall continue to follow your trips with as much interest as this one!!!!

KEEP UP THE GREAT JOB!!!!!!

Chris, your video report was loads of fun to watch and like they say... A picture is worth a thousand words. In your case, since you had moving pictures, sound and pretty cool music it has to be worth much more! Thank you for sharing your vacation with us.:)

it's over :( :( :( :(

But as lots have said, that was amazing, and a LOT of fun. Thanks for 'taking us on vacation' :worship: :thanks:

Chris, that was fabulous!!!!!!!!! Just finished the last day.

You did an incredible job!

OMG - I just stumbled on this thread tonite. Coincidentally I posted a new thread on another discussion board asking for people to post videos for inspiration for my upcoming WDW trip (brand new camcorder user here - haven't even picked it up yet). I do not need to go anywhere else - your thread is inspiration enough!!! Absolutely Fantastic!!!

Well done and kudos to you!

And, given that you have a couple of weeks before your next trip, I hope you can somehow come up with your Master Playlist for all your videos- LOL!

I don't know when you are going or when you are getting your camera but make sure you practice with it before you go.

The discussion of creating a master list for all the music has come up before in an earlier thread. If you read my first post you will learn that the inspiration for the TR stems from my lack of typing skill and my lack of patients in said activity.
So I look at the task as very overwhelming:scared: has each day has at least three songs all from different albums and some of the music was created by editing songs together.

What I have been doing is listing music by request. If you hear something you like tell me the day and when it was used and I will give you the info.

Thanks for the props! Enjoy your trip and don't forget to post your video! And give your video a wacky crazy title so it wont' get ignored. The DISers that have following this thread from the beginning agree that a better title would have made this a hotter thread. Often times it would get pushed off the page. Y

Thanks Chris! Just back from a week away so have enjoyed catching up with the last couple of parts. Look forward to your next trip!!

Believe it or not, DD4 and I will be there for part of the time you are going. We will be there from Sept.27 - Oct.1. Any chance you are going to MNSSHP on Sept.30?

Even if we saw you, I am sure that you would be too busy with the camera so I would probably just let you know after we got back. Maybe I might say hi to Kim though - LOL!

Yes, I read your earlier post about practice. When I first started looking at your video I was hoping that these videos were going to be shot by someone with no experience to give me some hope of pulling off a similar professional-looking spread on my first recorded trip, but of course nothing that looks this good can be done by a novice!

I haven't even picked up the camcorder yet, but I am planning on taking it with me on a short weekend trip with the kids to Montreal next weekend to practice.

Thanks again for sharing and I can't wait for the next segment in October!

We will be at MNSSHP at the end of the week so we will not be there on the 30th. We have a lot going on in the beginning of the week and originally we were going on the 30th but wanted to spread out our week.

If you do see Kim and me please come up and say hi, I would get such a kick out of that:rotfl: .

I don't see how that would happen though because there is no way you could recognize me. You see I am actually quite thin and very young, the camera adds 20lbs and with the wide angle it adds another 20lbs and it also ads 10 years. So you need to look for a young thin guy. Oh and I forgot to mention that my hair only appears to be turning gray on camera. In real life it is still dark brown.

I found a picture of what you and Kim look like in real life!
