Video & Photography Question

How long did you book your video and photo for. I was thinking of doing the video package of 6 hours and the photo for 6 hours. I know the photo starts before the ceremony starts, when does the videographer start? At the ceremony or while I am getting ready?

Are you using Disney or outside vendors??? I highly recommend you use outside vendors..disney does a great job but outside vendors are MUCH better and worth the money...you will save a lot and you get more than your moneys worth TRUST ME!!!!

The only thing we had with disney photography was our Honeymoon Photoshoot because it came with our package..we used Randy Chapman on our wedding day so we got to do the honeymoon shoot...I want to order some pictures but Tim won't let me lol....to get prints the prices are i think 12 for a 4x5, 13 for a 4x6 , 20 for a 5x7 and 30 for an 8x10!

Videography starts whenever you want it too! I didn't want pre-ceremony video originally, but then I found out that our videographers couldn't get into Epcot unless they rode in our limo, so they came to meet us during our first look in the lobby. Now I'm glad they were there because, in addition to fab photos of the first look, we have video footage!

Some people like getting-ready video, so then you'd want to factor that in to the package. Also, neither your photographers nor your videographers have to stay til the last dog dies, as Grandma used to say. You can schedule your cake cutting/garter toss/etc. earlier in the reception so that they can leave before it ends.

I booked Randy (photography) for his unlimited hours package because I wanted him there from "getting ready" to the end of the dessert party. Stan (videography) was booked for 10 hours and he was there from when we took formal photos at the grand floridian all the way until the end of the dessert party as well.

After reading a lot of posts I saw that Randy was a very popular photographer, I emailed him and he was already booked for the day. Is there anyone else that is good to use before I default to disney?

we booked misty miotto for unlimited hours and stan is only 4 hours as we only really want the basics taped

We booked The Roots (www.rootography.com) for 5 hours plus the dessert party. Their pictures are in the PIX! link in my signature... and my little signature slideshow!

We are going to use Nathan and Jensey Root www.rootography.com. I just love their style of photography

We are also using Misty this coming November and I am so looking forward to it. We are heading down next week for our planning session and we have booked an Engagement Shoot with her.
