video editing software

Any recommendations? I've got the mini-dv and have taped many things. What software do you recommend as a good video editor? I want to add some titles and other stuff to our vacation video. I don't need a lot of features, just the basics.

My faves for easy editing are Apple iMovie & Adobe Premiere

If you have a Mac, AVID XpressDV, Final Cut Pro, or iMovie, in that order, are my choices.

On Windows, XpressDV, or Premiere. I know there are some cheap programs out there too, but I am not too familiar with them. I think "Dazzle" is one I've heard of.
